CAPRI 2/01/08 - La popolare attrice americana Lindsay Lohan ha fartto parte della prestigiosa schiera di registi, produttori e attori internazionali premiati al 12° festival di cinema internazionale ‘Capri, Hollywood’. Il festival presieduto dal produttore Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles) e popolato da numerose stelle dello spettacolo.
Abituata ai riflettori sin dalla più tenera età, Lindsay Lohan ha iniziato la sua carriera nel mondo della pubblicità come modella-bambina. La sua immagine non è passata inosservata: a 10 anni ha ottenuto il ruolo di Alexandra “Alli” Fowler nella serie TV “Another World”, “in cui sosteneva molti più dialoghi rispetto alle altri attrici della sua età” di quel periodo. L’anno successivo ha quindi debuttato sul grande schermo, interpretando il duplice ruolo di due identiche gemelle, nel remake della Disney di “The Parent Trap” (Genitori in trappola, 1998).
Lindsay Lohan è diventata una star grazie ai ruoli protagonisti dei film “Freaky Friday” (Quel pazzo venerdì), “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” (Quanto è difficile essere teenager), “Mean Girls” e “Herbie: Fully Loaded” (Herbie Il Supermaggiolino). Ricordiamo inoltre le sue apparizioni in “A Prairie Home Companion” e “Bobby”. Nel 2004 la Lohan ha inaugurato una seconda fase della sua carriera, debuttando come cantante pop. Finora ha inciso due album: “Speak” (2004) e “A Little More Personal(Raw)” (2005) e di recente è tornata in studio per incidere il suo “Terzo Album”. Quest’anno ha occupato il Primo Posto della Classifica Maxim “Hot Shot”.

POP ICON LINDSAY LOHAN TO BE HONORED AT CAPRI, HOLLYWOOD – THE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Los Angeles, CA (December 21, 2007) – American actress and pop singing star Lindsay Lohan is joining a remarkable lineup of international of directors, producers and performing artists being honored at the 12th Annual Capri, Hollywood 2007–The Film Festival. Producer Mark Canton (300, The Spiderwick Chronicles) serves as Chairman of the star-studded festival, which will take place at various locations throughout Capri, Italy, from December 27th through January 2, 2008.

In the spotlight from an early age, Ms. Lohan began her show business career as a child fashion model for magazine advertisement and television commercials. Her ad work led to roles in soap operas, and she was already considered a show-business veteran at age 10 when she landed the role of Alexandra "Alli" Fowler on Another World, "where she delivered more dialogue than any other 10-year-old in daytime serials" of the time. She made her motion picture debut the following year by playing identical twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap.
Lohan rose to motion picture stardom with her leading roles in the films Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Her subsequent roles include appearances in A Prairie Home Companion and Bobby. In 2004, Lohan launched a second career in pop music yielding the albums Speak (2004) , A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005) and is now back in the studio recording her Third Album. Earlier this year, she, placed at #1 on the Maxim "Hot 100".
